What do we have to provide you?

In principle, two files:  a customer master file with name, address, phone, demographics/firmographics, etc.; and a transaction file that can be invoice lines or customer summaries.  If it makes it easier for your I.T. department, we can accept multiple linked database tables.  We want to make it easy for you.

How safe is my data?

We provide you with your own FTP page with a unique username and password for file transmission.  We also support 7-ZIP compression with built in AES 256 encryption and PGP encryption.  We offload your data ASAP.

Is Total Customer Analytics only for U.S. customers?

Our techniques work with global customers, so we are not limited.  Our detailed geographic penetration is based on U.S. data, so that part of the analysis only applies to U.S. customers.

I don't have firmographics or demographics data.  Can I still use Total Customer Analytics?

Absolutely.  Most of the customer analysis techniques we use do not depend on this data.  The segmentation and best customer analysis, however, works best with firmographic or demographic data.  We have a relationship with InfoUSA where we can append the data for you for an additional fee.

Why shouldn't I do the analysis myself?

We've developed our techniques and the software to do them over 25 years.  The software alone would cost you more than the cost to Total Customer Analytics.  Why not benefit from our experience and capabilities?

Is Total Customer Analytics only for B2B or B2C companies?

It's for both, with the main difference being in the penetration analysis.  For B2B companies, we base the analysis on NAICS code industries.  These are the codes the government has been using for some time to compile business information.  For B2C companies, we base the analysis on life-stage using various demographic components.

  9. Customer potential - shows the potential each existing customer has to become one of your best customers

  10. Customer forecast – estimates how much each customer will spend with you in the next three years based on their trend

How much data should I provide?

Total Customer Analytics can process up to five years of transaction data.  Most of the analysis is based on the prior 12 months.  If you have less than five years of transaction data, you will still receive a complete analysis, but some of the migration data will be for fewer years.

How often should I update my data?

We recommend at least once per year.  If you have a dynamically changing account base and you'd like to update more frequently, we provide a discount for more frequent updates.
